When the father she never knew dies, a photographer from Barcelona travels to a village in the Pampas and inherits a house, a mare that bears her name, and a brother whose existence she was unaware of. As she reconstructs this man through testimonies that never quite align, she discovers why her mother fled —and, almost without realizing it, she begins to belong to a place she never chose.
